Gammy Letter

Hi Gammy,

This letter is long overdue! My intention is that your outlook on life is bright and your spirit is high!

I figure the best way to do this is give you a quick recap on my last couple years since speaking with you.

I do not recall the last time we talked. I was engaged to a female named Julie that I met back in late 2002. We decided that the timing was not right for us as a married couple and separated in early 2005. We both had some growing to do individually.

My adventures took me back to Columbus, Ohio for a while where I decided to learn about the real estate building and construction industry. I built a 1200 sq ft Loft inside of a 13,000 sq ft old building. It was a great learning experience. Then I bought a 3-bedroom home and fixed and rehabbed everything in it. Once that house was finished I decided that I was going to fly to China and learn about the culture and the language. I was introduced to China and Japan while working with a guy named Bruce, whose loft, we built. He builds robots for automating laborious tasks people don’t want to do. During my apprenticeship with him we talked a lot about China and Japan and negotiated deals with business people from there. This is what peaked my interest.

While in Beijing, China I went to language school and took some business courses there as well. I was able to tour factories and businesses and do some traveling to Macau (which is the next Vegas) and some other cool touristy places.

I came back to Columbus and invested in a company with a friend of mine. www.ColumbusRetroMetro.com We worked on this for a few months and then decided that I did not need to be there on a daily basis, so I needed to find a way to make some money and learn something new.

Next I talked with all my friends in the world and found out that one of my buddies was running a very successful company, called SureClick , in the Internet industry. I moved to Washington DC from Oct 06-Nov 07. I worked with twin brothers who owned the company. I was their assistant and learned what it takes to run a successful multimillion-dollar company from the operational and income generation perspectives.

All during this time that I have mentioned above I have been involved of building a hip-hop rapper ‘s career. His name is B.YONEST and is a great friend of mine and we continue to learn and apply our knowledge into building this company.

Toward the end of my time with SureClick, I had been traveling back and forth to Columbus and DC working on the B.YONEST stuff and Julie and I started talking again.

My mom had a mini stroke about a year ago and I decided to come back to Cleveland and hang out with her since Nov 07. It was great time spent together and we talked a lot. She is doing great. Almost ready to retire within a couple to a few years. Well she is thinking about doing it at the end of this year, but we will see.

Just this past week I decided to move back to Columbus, Ohio It is only about a 2 hour drive so I am still close enough to my mom. Julie and I are renting a townhouse together and everything is spectacular. We are very HAPPY!

There is a company called Residential Finance Corporation that Julie has worked at for the last 2 years. She does very well and referred me to work there. I start tomorrow. I am refinancing and doing home loans for people all over the USA. I am very excited!

I have a great background in real estate from many aspects, but not the financing side. So this is the next thing I will learn. I will also improve on my phones skills.

My life is a constant learning process. I have determined that I am addicted to learning new things! I am not sure if you are online, but I have put together a simple informational website that I used for employers. www.zaksiddons.com If you take a look you will see my crazy travels and learning environments over the years.

Above is a brief recap for you though.

Gammy, I miss you and my intention is to get to Montana. My travels have not brought me close enough in recent years.

I would love to hear an update on how you are and what is great in your world!!!

Please write or call. I never wanted this lack of correspondence to go this long on my side. My apologies.

I love you!

Zak

Arizona, RichDad, StripClubs, and new friendships

Happy Holidays! I have been thinking about a few key action items and moves to add to the predictable success of 2008 and you popped in my mind.

Quick update. Moved back to Columbus, Ohio from DC. Time and Experience with SureClick and Jason and Justin was GREAT! BUT ultimately DC was not for me. The music pulled me back, B.YONEST. Along with my favorite female, Julie.

When you and I met in Phoenix, you mentioned having an IN, a fairly serious one, if I remember within the music industry. I never wanted to ask for the introduction you mentioned until we were ready to rep your word. We are ready, now.

We have a 14 track, all original album in final mix down. There are currently 20-25 mixtape/remixes and growing by the day. All of the above mentioned is unreleased. We have done very well with our progression and maturity in gaining understanding about the industry. We are continually doing our research on the online space, the music space online and current state of the music industry. Above all else B.YONEST’s maturity, flow, versatility, showmanship and lyrical abilities are at the top of the hiphop game. It is time for execution of the PLAN.

We are putting together a board of advisors, partnerships and interviewing potential investors.

At the Whole New Mind Seminar – you met Gary Gray. Have you ever corresponded with him since then? If you have his contact info, that would be helpful as well.

Both of these contacts could precessionally make a huge impact to our PLAN!!!

I want to extend my apology for not making the time to meet with you while in DC. Not the right timing for either of us, I guess.

What is new with the family, the business, and life in general? Where may I be able to add value to you achieving your 2008 goals? Are the boys still sporting the mohawks?

Thanks,

Continual growth in all areas, thats 2008!

What can I say, this post is long overdue, it finally feels like the right timing.

I woke up this morning at 7am after a 7 hour sleep with a few New Years drunken text wake ups. Yes, you may have read between those lines, I did not go out and get plastered, I am focused. Workout, nutritional foods, engaged learning and massive action.

Catch up…This morning was 7am Buckminster Fuller – The Lost Interviews. I was strong and engaged, taking notes as fast as I could type. By about 30 min of 45 min Bucky is blowing my mind, tiring me out. His statements have such depth of understanding, a profound knowledge from connecting everything that this universe has to offer. ” A throw away” in his words, Bucky had to experience truths before accepting them. One of the deep quotes from interview…

“Dare to commit yourself to the truth as you find it. “

For the last 15 minutes I chilled out and just watched. A passive and less engaged learning. I was able to just follow instead of thinking about not being able to type fast enough to get the next point.

But this engaged, active learning is fun. I am typing on my computer the notes of scenes of movies, “Rounders”,”What the Bleep”, then 1hour of Jack Daly/Sales and then TV show History of Sex on History Channel

Outstanding information – Eastern philosophy beliefs/rules were very different around sexuality, adultery, homosexuality, prostitution, polygamy. It really makes me wonder why we had to accept these Western Beliefs brought to concisenesses by the church. why?

Jack Daly’s sales course is Energetic with a great blend of information and communication of behaviors to make successful sales people. I thank Jack for getting in my face in Oct. I felt a competitive, and direct state that had not been invoked in years. Since then, I have been living with this state and using it effectively.

There was some B.YONEST moves taking place as well. 1 strong letter today to a Innovative Hat company PAK. Another letter to execute today to J.J. FOCUS!!!

LoveSac got an email today for a possible partnerships. We’ll see? – acting on inspired thought, every time I have one. Taking action, instead of thinking about it. It happens that fast. An idea flashs in your mind and that means it is ready for a behavior/action towards execution, at that moment.

I have seen that window of opportunity (WoO) close in front of me a handful of times in my life. A few by choice, but a few I wanted. These opportunities felt right and I was going after them, but they closed. No sob story here. Everything has lead to where I am now. I am extremely happy where I am right now. I am extremely happy with the progress of all projects and areas of life.

“Time is an illusion” I was once told. I am in the process in deciding where I sit on that statement. Things seem to be happening in perfect time. JIT – Just In Time, seems to be part of these (WoO)’s. Things continually seem to happen right when it is most important, or last minute, knick of time, JIT.

Columbus move takes place in 4 days. This is one of the most exciting moves I have ever made. 2 very strong energy sources to me in CBUS. JZ, B.YONEST. It took many steps and many things coming together in perfect alignment to make this happen. CORE Complete.

Columbus has been a perfect playground to practice. Many great experiences in Columbus, many great people. Posting up for one year in Arena District. This is the environment of success, learning, execution and mastery of sales.

Being patient, while the game plays it self out for employment. Jim Camp’s teachings are being practiced right now and it is fun. Always have a purpose for every call or email. Better to only have one per email. Take your time, prognosticate (see the future), no need, and pay attention to the response and re-react.

What else? Other secrets are being worked on as well. A consistent daily discipline to scan pictures and review past yellow pads of thoughts. A lot of them. The creed is in continual, daily revision. Gratitude – well positioned. Workouts – Beyond my comfort zone. Vegetables and MonaV. TRAINING! Affirming and programming success.

Success is not an accident. It is about consistent, disciplined, and perfectly practiced repetitions.
Continual growth in all areas, thats 2008!

About Me – 1/08

..I feel that a short story may help explain the untraditional frame of my mind: It was end of my second year in university. Our teacher brought forth a quote by Woody Allen that was supposed to get us all fired up and to have a group discussion on how wrong the quote was. Well the quote had an opposite effect on me, but one that changed my life from that day forward…

The quote was something like “those who do, do and those who can’t teach.”

It was perfectly clear to me after the discussion that we had a very large problem with our public school system, one I have come to realize is much bigger then I originally thought.

Oh – couple points I forgot to mention – I had just spent the last 2 years studying education and both of my parents were public school educators.

Most (general statement) teachers go to school for grades K-12 as students. Then off to a 4-5 year college or university. Some go for a masters and maybe back for a doctorate. So most teachers spend 17-25 years in school and then go back into the classroom to teach our kids about what they should do when they grow up in the “real world” One major problem I began to see is they never really lived in the real world. They always lived in the classroom except for summers. This was a huge distinction for me. I decided that I would teach, but differently then my teachers had taught me. I would first learn about the real world, as much about it as possible before and during my teaching years.

The precessional effect has lead me around the world traveling, studying different biz models, biz people and industries. I have started and invested in multiple companies. I’m still trying to figure out which game I really want to spend the majority of my time playing for the next few years.

What else? I look forward to sharing all my experiences with as many other wonderFULL people as possible. It’s not easy to get to know me – but those who do – I know I add a lot of value….

I am eternally greatFULL to all of my friends, family, teachers that I have met on my journeys…I appreciate all of you for everything you have done for me through support, education and/or just having FUN. We have all seen some crazy things, lived though some unbelievable experiences (good&bad) and that’s what I love most…WE still keep living…taking ourselves to the BOUNDARIES and extending them farther.
