Gentlemen,

Have fired up the solar panel testing program and the theory of extracting both the electricity and heat from the panel is very positive. The drive though heat in the panel is around 120F which is substantially better than expected. Fort Green will be able to offer a hybrid solar energy solution.  We will be able to covert the sun’s solar energy into electricity, hot water, and store the remaining heat in our Active Plate Storage system (APS) for heating the building. At first glance we should be able to extract and save 70 to 85 percent of the sun’s energy that falls on the panel. We will be running calibrated and documented tests over the next two months. 

Can you imagine the press coverage potential of the world’s most energy efficient building system? Hello major magazines?

Gentlemen,

Here’s our solar test unit. This is our hybrid phase 3 panel which;  1) generates electricity, 2) heats water, and 3) heats the active plate concrete mass. We have just started the testing, but the preliminary results show we capture 15% of the suns energy as electricity and 60 to 70% of the sun’s energy as heat. Were running chart recorders on the unit so all of the test results are documented and verifiable. The electricity generation seems to work even in cloudy conditions but the solar heat range oscillates between 94 to 120 F in cloudy conditions. We are targeting 120  degree heat capture which will give us a 50 degree differential allowing us to have effective solar heating in even higher latitudes like Canada.

Is your “mind” open to the world of INFINITE POSSIBILITY?

If I am understanding R. Bandler and NLP/hypnosis/trance, when we reframe we are just getting the subconscious mind to connect with creating alternatives without criticism (conscious) , this is opening your mind to THAT PLACE…What place,.?  well that is what I am still figuring out….HELP

According to L. West the “mind” plays in a space, not in the physical world.?  We access this nonphysical space using an organ called our “brain”.  The “brain” an organ, the same as liver or kidney, that acts as the nerve center of our human body. The “brain” takes a thought and connects it with ACTION in the Physical World.

We are recording our existence, 25 frames per second.  A 3-month recording of all our 5 senses would be way more bits of information then the brain, could handle – IMPOSSIBLY so.  The storage for all of these recorded movies of experience are here in THAT PLACE.

It reminds me of a server.  Have you ever stolen someone’s thought?  Weird, huh.  They were just about to say something and somehow you, said it right before them, or at the exact same time. jinx, no punchbacks. 

Who’s thought was it?  Did you think of it first or did you both access that same PLACE?

Yeah some famous guy said something like that once, lol. I am beginning to really understand it! It is not quite the same as Newton’s third law, but close and IS WORKING FOR ME

I have a thought in my mind (where that thought comes from – still don’t know) and I decide to ACT on THAT INSPIRED THOUGHT – I TAKE ACTION.

By me taking ACTION (stimulus) there is a cause set in motion (precession). If I send an email or make a phone call or slap someone across the face, chances are I am going to get a response. (equal and opposite reaction?)

WHAT DOES ALL THIS MEAN? To me it means that if I want things to happen, I HAVE TO MAKE THEM HAPPEN and TAKE ACTION – THERE WILL BE SOMETHING THAT COMES BACK OR A CAUSE SET IN MOTION, PERIOD!!!

IF I DO NO-THING, NOTHING WILL HAPPEN! SIMPLE RIGHT.

Understanding Life – Lawrence West

Have you ever read a book and then decided to read again later? Did you see, hear and learn new things?

I stood in front of my book case and asked my subconscious to choose – It choose Understanding Life by Lawrence West for the 2nd time.

When it was recommended to me about 4 years ago, I read it. Good book. This time, phenomenal book. My context  has expanded to allow more possibility.  I have also experienced more life to use as evidence.

Big names from former Walt Disney Co. Chief Executive Michael Eisner to actor Will Ferrell have backed Internet programming ventures. But they have yet to generate meaningful cash flow.

“We all tend to overthink this stuff,” says Steve Mosko, president, Sony Pictures Television, about made-for-Internet programming. “If you can figure out some ways to plug it into traditional business models, spend a few bucks, maybe you can make high-quality work for the Internet.”

The budget for “Angel” is just more than $1 million — less than many direct-to-DVD titles but high by Internet standards.

In addition to generating some ad revenue on the Web, Sony hopes that launching the show online will translate into strong sales for the DVD, much as a good start in theaters builds DVD sales for feature movies.

“We’re not expecting to make all our money back in that initial [online] window,” says Sean Carey, senior executive vice president, Sony Pictures Television.

ATTRACT AND RETAIN TALENT – COLUMBUS, OHIO

How is the city helping to attract and retain talent?

This topic hits very close to home for me.  I am the young professional that Columbus claims to be wanting to attract and retain.  On a daily basis I work with some of the best creative’s in the city.  Wed Developers, Photographers, Graphic Designers, Videographers, Editors, Animators, Actors/Actresses/ Musicians, Song Writers, Producers, Promoters.  WILD HUH!  Thats my life!  

Currently, I do all this in Columbus, Ohio.  Why would we go anywhere else, when “we can play make-believe here.” – Karita 

We have the talent.  No doubt.  What incentive do we have to stay here and use it though?  The allure of the “green grass” is else where – LA, NYC for starters, for some of us even further off like China, India, Dubai.

The city is asking for input.  I sent an email to give that input today.  We have met with CM CRAIG of the Economic Development Committee.  We will continue to shake hands with as many people as possible over the coming months.
