About me

..I feel that a short story may help explain the untraditional frame of my mind: It was end of my second year in university. Our teacher brought forth a quote by Woody Allen that was supposed to get us all fired up and to have a group discussion on how wrong the quote was. Well the quote had an opposite effect on me, but one that changed my life from that day forward…

The quote was something like “those who can, do, and those who can’t, teach.”

It was perfectly clear to me after the discussion that we had a very large problem with our public school system, one I have come to realize is much bigger then I originally thought.

Oh – couple points I forgot to mention – I had just spent the last 2 years studying education and both of my parents were public school educators.

Most (general statement) teachers go to school for grades K-12 as students. Then off to a 4-5 year college or university. Some go for a masters and maybe back for a doctorate. So most teachers spend 17-25 years in school and then go back into the classroom to teach our kids about what they should do when they grow up in the “real world” One major problem I began to see is they never really lived in the real world. They always lived in the classroom except for summers. This was a huge distinction for me. I decided that I would teach, but differently then my teachers had taught me. I would first learn about the real world, as much about it as possible before and during my teaching years.

The precessional effect has lead me around the world traveling, studying different biz models, biz people and industries. I have started and invested in multiple companies. I’m still trying to figure out which game I really want to spend the majority of my time playing for the next few years.

What else? I look forward to sharing all my experiences with as many other wonderFULL people as possible. It’s not easy to get to know me – but those who do – I know I add a lot of value….

I am eternally greatFULL to all of my friends, family, teachers that I have met on my journeys…I appreciate all of you for everything you have done for me through support, education and/or just having FUN. We have all seen some crazy things, lived though some unbelievable experiences (good&bad) and that’s what I love most…WE still keep living…taking ourselves to the BOUNDARIES and extending them farther.
